At Lone Pine Outfitters, we specialize in guided "fair chase" Pennsylvania elk hunts (permits available by public drawing). Our base camp is located in the north central mountains of Pennsylvania, and owner/outfitter Jerry Schickling is a life-long hunter and outdoorsman, and knows that the hunt is more than just the harvest of game, but the atmosphere, friendships, and memories that are created.

Lone Pine Outfitters welcomed elk hunters Bart Kleppinger from Quakertown, Pa., Tom Raymond of Jermyn, Pa., and Jessica Delamater from Wyalusing, Pa. to Elk Camp 2008!! Bart got a beautiful 7X7 bull that gross scored 386 6/8! Tom harvested an awesome 7X7 that gross scored 360 2/8! Jessica got a trophy cow elk, and shared the hunt with her dad! Jessica's dad Brad hunted with us during the 2004 elk season (scroll down to the trophy room for a photo), and we were excited to have him join us at camp again!

We also want to thank Mark Hoffer from Pennsylvania Back Country for filming the 2008 season. Stay tuned for updates on another exciting season of elk hunting on Pennsylvania Back Country!
